Les faits divers du 21 février 2012
Quarante-huit robinets, du fils électrique, une machine à percée et divers outils ont été volés dans une remise d’un chantier de construction situé à Grand Baie entre 5h00 le 20 février 2012 et 8h00 le 21 février 2012. Le montant du délit tournerait autour de la somme Rs 300,000.00. La police de Grand baie a ouvert une enquête.

1. Grand Bay Police- Larceny Breaking
On 21.02.2012 at 1615 hrs, Mr M, 43 yrs, Director, of Grand Bay reported that between 0500 hrs on 20.02.2012 and 0800 hrs on 21.02.2012, a store found at a site of construction, situated at Grand Bay was broken into. Forty-eight taps, electric wires, a drilling machine and several tools all worth about Rs 300,000/- have been stolen. The site is not guarded. Articles are not insured.

2. Pope Hennessy Police – Larceny on Public Road
On 21.02.2012 at 1405 hrs, Mr A, 56 yrs, self employed, residing at St Pierre reported that earlier at about 1000 hrs, he was walking alone along Sir William Newton St, Port Louis when an unknown man on foot coming from behind him snatched his bag containing sum of Rs 17,000/- and seven Mauritian passports. Thereafter, in the attempt to catch the malefactor, two other unknown men pushed him and he fell on the road. All the three culprits bolted towards Farquhar St. He was not injured. Value stolen Rs 21,900/-

2. N, 43 yrs, residing at Vacoas for having on 19.02.2012 stolen a bicycle from the place of Mr. M, 39 yrs, residing at, Vacoas. (Vacoas Police).
3. W, 38 yrs, of no fixed abode for having on 21.02.2012 stolen perfumes from Spar, situated along Brabant St, Port Louis. (Line Barracks Police).
4. I, 30yrs, residing at Vacoas for having on 21.02.2012 at 1830 hrs, stolen P/Van which was parked at Prince Charles Ave Camp le Vieux with its ignition keys .
